TRIP HIGHLIGHTS & ITINERARY
Iran 9-day tour is an opportunity to discover Iran’s rich culture and history and its warm-hearted people have always drawn travelers from all over the world to Iran. Although it has been a bit isolated from the rest of the world for the past few decades, it’s now opening its doors to all of those who cannot afford to miss the chance to visit Iran, the cradle of civilization.
Arrive at any time. Flights often arrive very late at night or early in the morning in Tehran. Arrive at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, where you are met and transferred to our hotel located in city center of Tehran.
|Tehran to shiraz|
This morning we take you a World Heritage Site, the lavish Golestan Palace built during the Qajar Dynasty. Time permitting, we can walk around the Tehran Bazaar, few steps far from Golestan Palace. In the afternoon you will visit the National Museum of Iran, where you can see fabulous historical items from 5000 BC. Then we will transfer to the airport for your included flight to Shiraz where you’ll be escorted to the Hotel.
After breakfast will start your full day tour of Shiraz. At first, you will visit Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque) few steps far from Vakil Bazaar. After that, you will visit Karim Khan Citadel. Built during the Zand Dynasty. Then you’ll have time to explore and shop in the bustling Vakil Bazaar. End your day in Shiraz on a tranquil note in the lovely garden the tomb of Hafez.
|Shiraz Persepolis Yazd (449 km)|
We have a full day of driving today to reach our destination of Yazd. We will have stopped on our way to visit the legendary city of Persepolis. Continue to Yazd and check in to our hotel.
Yazd is one of Iran’s oldest continuously inhabited towns. Yazd is also the center of Iran’s Zoroastrian community. At the Tower of Silence, you’ll learn about one of the traditions of this ancient pre-Islamic religion. Then you will visit Zoroastrian Fire Temple. In Amir Chakhmaq Square, you’ll see a very impressive Hussainiya – a congregation hall for Shia commemoration ceremonies. Then we will go to Dowlat Abad Garden and back to the hotel.
|Yazd Isfahan (323km)|
Leaving Yazd behind, Isfahan was one of the world’s greatest cities – architecturally striking, Isfahan nesf-Jahan (Isfahan is Half the World). the first thing that we are going to see is Masjid-e Jamé, another masterpiece of Iranian architecture. Next up, your exploration continues in Imam Square you will see three masterpiece of the architecture then we will visit the Ali Qapu Palace. This afternoon, Chehel Sotun then back to hotel.
We start with the Vank Cathedral with its lavishly decorated interior and then the Armenian reign. You’ll join our expert guide to begin your exploration of the city, starting with Zayande River and two famous bridges Siosepol and Khaju then back to hotel.
Later, we take you to Kashan, the city of textiles and ceramic productions. In the morning we will visit Bagh-e Fin Garden. You’ll also visit the historic Borujerdi House here in Kashan. Then leaving Kashan behind, we’ll come back to the capital.
Our tour guide will transfer you to Imam Khomeini International Airport, according to your’ flight time.
