TRIP HIGHLIGHTS & ITINERARY
Iran 11-day tour is an opportunity to discover Iran’s rich culture and history and its warm-hearted people have always drawn travelers from all over the world to Iran. Although it has been a bit isolated from the rest of the world for the past few decades, it’s now opening its doors to all of those who cannot afford to miss the chance to visit Iran, the cradle of civilization.
After arriving in Tehran from Imam Khomeini International Airport our professional tour guide to the hotel where you can rest and have lunch at a local restaurant.
This morning we take you a World Heritage Site, the lavish Golestan Palace. Time permitting, we can walk around Tehran Bazaar, few steps far from Golestan Palace. In the afternoon, you’ll go to see National Museum of Iran. We will also visit the Carpet Museum of Iran.
Tehran – Kashan (244 km)
Leaving Tehran behind, we’ll travel south to Kashan to visit Bagh-e Fin Garden. You’ll also visit the historic Borujerdi House here in Kashan. Tonight you’ll enjoy comfort and modern amenities in our classic a Boutique Hotel with its traditional courtyard and Persian-inspired style.
Kashan– Abyaneh – Isfahan (269 km)
After breakfast drive to Isfahan, on our way to Isfahan, you will visit Abyaneh village. Your overland journey continues to the Isfahan. Isfahan was one of the world’s greatest cities – architecturally striking.
Continue your exploration in Isfahan. You will visit Masjid-e Jāmé, another masterpiece of Iranian architecture. This afternoon, your exploration continues in Imam Square then Ali Qapu Palace. Next up is Chehel Sotun. In the afternoon, you’ll return to the center of town to continue exploring the shops and landmarks that surround.
Isfahan-Yazd (323 km)
Leaving Isfahan behind, your first stop this morning will be in Na’in, at the local Ethnographic Museum, your overland journey continues to the small town of Meybod, visit including its caravanserai. Continue to Yazd and check in to our hotel.
Yazd is one of Iran’s oldest continuously inhabited towns. You will see Tower of Silence and learn about one of the traditions then we will go to Zoroastrian Fire Temple, In Amir Chakhmaq Square, you’ll see a very impressive Hussainiya – a congregation hall for Shia commemoration ceremonies. Then visit the Friday Mosque. Then you’ll visit Zendan-e Iskandar then Dowlat Abad Garden with its tallest wind tower in the world.
Yazd-Shiraz (442 km)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Shiraz. On the way, visit Persepolis, Pasargadae and Naghsh-e Rostam (Necropolis). Continue to Shiraz and check in to our hotel.
After breakfast will start your full day tour of Shiraz. At first, you will visit Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque) few steps far from Vakil Bazaar. You will also visit Karim Khan Citadel. Built during the Zand Dynasty. Then you’ll have time to explore and shop in the bustling Vakil Bazaar. End your final day in Iran on a tranquil note in the beautiful orange-scented Narenjestan Garden.
Shiraz to Tehran
Shiraz is famous for its gardens and we’ll visit the Eram Garden with its aromatic myrtles. End your day in Shiraz on a tranquil note in the lovely garden tomb of Hafez. You’ll be escorted to the Shiraz International Airport this morning for your departure flight to Tehran. After arriving at Mehrabad International Airport our tour guide transfers you to the hotel.
