Kooh Sangi Park
Kooh Sangi, surrounded by Mount Binalud, is one of the greatest spots situated in the southern parts of Mashhad, Iran. This massive urban public park is a popular destination for locals, tourists, and pilgrims alike.
Right in front of the beautiful hillock of Kooh Sangi, there is a summer house with a large pool that is fed by aqueduct (qanat) water coming from Gonabad area. This pool runs 100 m in length and 60 m in width. Old tall trees alongside the pool have enhanced the beauty of the park to the point that the locals have nicknamed it as “Dalan-e-Behesht” (the Corridor to Paradise).
